SANFORD, Fla. – As we observe Dr. King’s 90th Birthday, The Goldsboro Museum’s new exhibition- The Dream of Justice Lives On, honoring and highlighting the life and dreams of Dr. King, takes you back to the Civil Rights Movement and its impact on Goldsboro through Original National Publications, Magazines, and Social Events in Sanford.

The Dream of Justice Lives On is curated by Goldsboro Museum Founder & Chief Curator, Francis Coleman- Oliver. The exhibition is titled after justice quotes from Dr.King’s I Have A Dream Speech.

“Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice”

“We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

“Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.”

“We refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.”- Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Goldsboro Museum showcases and preserves the history, heritage, and livelihood of Goldsboro, Florida. On December 1, 1891, the town of Goldsboro was the second African- American incorporated City in the United States.
